Aviation Photography

I finally made my way out to the airport today to break in my new lens and try my hand at some aviation shots. I quickly gave up on “Observation Park”; it was crowded and the views weren’t that great so I paid the $1/hr it costs to park in the garage and hiked up to the roof where the long term parking is. From the northern side of the garage you get a great view of T2 operations as well as the departures off of runway 23R. A friendly TSA agent spotted me from the terminal and made the trek up to the roof to make sure I wasn’t up to no good; he even offered some other location tips so I’m sure I’ll be back.
